The following are the top 5 U.S. national parks(in my opinion). Now granted, there are a few I have not been to. And I think after I visit those I may have to knock a couple off this list. But, these are the standings as of now!
5. Rocky Mountain National Park

The fifth national park on my list of top U.S. national parks is Rocky Mountain National Park. With its stunning mountain landscapes and diverse wildlife, it offers visitors a truly immersive experience in nature. From hiking trails to scenic drives, there are plenty of opportunities to explore and appreciate the beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
I put Rocky Mountain at fourth on my top U.S. national parks list not only because of its scenic views, but due to its convenient proximity to Denver and other big cities, as well as its diversity in landscape and activities. I also found that while Rocky Mountain is a ver popular national park, even in the busy season there are plenty of areas and trails to explore where you can get a break from the crowds and take in the beauty of nature.

4. Sequoia National Park

The fourth national park on my list of top U.S. national parks is Sequoia National Park. Sequoia National Park not only has beautiful mountain views, but it is home to the largest trees in the world! The park’s gorgeous forests, crystal-clear rivers, and stunning Sierra Nevada landscapes going on for miles makes visiting it a one of a kind experience(disregarding its neighbor).
Sequoia National Park’s unique scenery, breathtaking view points, and incredible hikes all contributed to its fourth place spot on my list. I also just had an incredible experience at this park when I visited. Between the giant sequoia trees towering over you and the panoramic views, you truly feel immersed in nature.
3. Yosemite National Park

The third national park on my list of top U.S. national parks is Yosemite National Park. Yosemite is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its striking granite cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and giant sequoias. Iconic landmarks like El Capitan and Half Dome attract climbers and photographers from around the world.
The beauty of Yosemite Valley, coupled with its rich history and year-round accessibility, all contribute to its third place on my list of top U.S. national parks. It is also practically impossible to have a bad experience at Yosemite National Park; its views are truly breathtaking.
2. Zion National Park

The second national park on my list of top U.S. national parks is Zion National Park. Zion captivates visitors with its dramatic red cliffs, narrow slot canyons, and the Virgin River carving through the landscape. Hiking the Narrows and ascending Angel’s Landing are bucket-list experiences for many adventurers.
Zion National Park takes the second spot due to its unique geological formations and the thrilling, immersive experiences it offers. While the crowds at this park are absolutely no joke, every direction you turn there are these giant red rock cliffs towering over you, making it hard to not be impressed.
1. Grand Teton National Park

The first national park on my list of top U.S. national parks is Grand Teton National Park. The park’s awe-inspiring Teton Range, pristine alpine lakes, and abundant wildlife create a scene straight out of a postcard. Visitors can enjoy activities ranging from hiking and boating to wildlife watching and mountaineering. The iconic views of the jagged peaks reflecting in the waters of Jenny Lake and the Snake River are unforgettable.
Grand Teton National Park’s combination of stunning natural beauty, diverse outdoor activities, and serene landscapes earn it the number one spot on my top U.S. national parks list.
